American composer J.Capek about Boom!Band in Czech TV
You can hear the Boom ! Band, together with the following Czech singers:
With all of these, the Boom ! Band has prepared a 20 to 60 minute live program, suitable for balls, evening entertainment, etc. The repertoire for concerts may be up to 150 minutes long.
You will see and hear this band most often at concert halls, accompanying our stars. In the winter season the Boom ! Band performs at balls, sponsored by various social and specific age groups, for example, a ball at the Bratislava Opera Hall (three times), the CMSS ball (six times) or the Ambassador Hotel ball.
Ideally, one may employ the Boom ! Band all year round for corporate and sponsored Gala evenings for domestic and - thanks to our linguistic abilities in English and German - foreign clients. If you hire the Boom ! Band, you will find yourself among those satisfied clients who have had long-lasting experiences with this excellent group.
From its very beginnings the "Boom ! Band" developed a reputation as one of the top performing groups, which accompanied our most popular vocalists. In 1996 bass guitarist Jiri Dvorak gathered together several excellent musicians, and the days of hard work were upon them. The fruits of their labors soon included working with such well-known soloists as Lucie Bila and Hana Zagorova. Thanks to the group's superior quality and rumors spreading through the annals of show business, the Boom ! Band's reputation soon spread among other vocal stars.
The fact that the Boom ! Band has worked together with many famous soloists attests to its outstanding and well-deserved reputation.
July 13, 1999, the Boom ! Band expanded orchestra accompanied all the well-wishers at a gala concert on the occasion of Karel Gott's 60th birthday in Prague's Sport Center.
Without the Boom ! Band, led by bass guitarist Jiri Dvorak, the following stars would not even conceive of, let alone perform, their tours and Christmas concerts.
Hana Zagorova - 1996 Tour - with guests Petr Rezek, Petr Kotwald and Stanislav Hlozek (Recorded and broadcast on TV)

The Boom ! Band performs at prestigious social events, such as, the benefit concert for Michal David and his friends at Prague's Zofin (1999), or the concert at Prague's Lucerna theater "To Satchmo With Love" dedicated to the phenomenal Louis Armstrong, where the Boom ! Band accompanied Karel Gott, Eva Pilarova, Ladislav Kerndl, Jiri Suchy, Petr Lipa, Vera Spinarova, Laco Dezi and others. A TV broadcast and a CD were recorded from that concert. In the year 2000, Polish spectators had the opportunity to hear the Boom ! Band together together with Helena Vondrackova who was a guest of the music festival (live TV broadcast).
The opening night of International Green Week Berlin 2005, from Congress Center ICC in Berlin, Boom ! Band provided a well received solo performance followed by an exciting concert with Karel Gott. More recently, Boom ! Band's greatest achievement was their concert in New York’s Carnegie Hall in June 2005, with Karel Gott, Helena Vondrackova and Ryszard Rynkovski.
The Boom ! Band has had the honor of working together with such foreign stars as Drupi, Anna Rusticano and the French singer Mireille Mathieu.
The Boom ! Band does accompaniments and studio music. It has participated in the recording of many CDs, including:
Lucie Bila - "Stars are Stars"
Constellation - "Gott I and II"
"To Satchmo With Love"
Helena Vondrackova at Lucerna I and II
